Benefit concert featuring The Cavaliers set for Aug. 5 at Newbia Baptist Church

The Cavaliers Quartet of Shelbyville, Tenn. will perform at Newbia Baptist Church, located at 3819 County Road 330, Elba, on Saturday, Aug. 5, at 6 p.m.
There is no admission charge for this event. A love offering will be taken with 100 percent of the proceeds going to benefit Elizabeth Taylor, who was injured in June.
Taylor has received two radical surgeries for a spinal cord injury, and she is undergoing extensive inpatient rehabilitation.
The Cavaliers started in 1993 and have traveled the country singing the praises of Christ. In 2007 The Cavaliers signed a longterm record contract with Song Garden Music Group, home of the Chuck Wagon Gang, The Lefevre Quartet, The Old Time Gospel Hour Quartet, The Ball Brothers, Jimmy Fortune (tenor for the Statler Brothers) and many other great artists.
The Cavaliers have recorded multiple projects with Song Garden and have been blessed with songs from many award winning writers.
