Thursday, Oct 05,2017

The Coffee County Youth Leadership Program (CCYLP) held its annual Welcome Reception for this year’s participating students at the Coffee County Board of Education office Monday evening, Sept. 25th.
Students chosen for this leadership program are juniors in high school, and they go through a rigorous selection process before being chosen to be a part of CCYLP.
Students chosen for CCYLP already have shown leadership abilities, and this program is designed to help them further those skills.
The Elba Chamber of Commerce hosted the reception following the introduction of this year’s CCYLP class. The light refreshments served included: cake, punch, and chips.
